What is job costing?
Job costing means tracking every dollar of labor, materials, and expenses against the job it belongs to, so you know whether each job actually made money. JobMargin does it as you work: crew hours post when your crew clocks out, and receipts post when you snap them.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. JobMargin runs on any phone, tablet, or computer. Open app.jobmargin.net and tap “Add to Home Screen” in your browser’s menu. It opens like an app and keeps working without a signal.
Does JobMargin replace QuickBooks?
No. Keep QuickBooks for your books and taxes. JobMargin is for running jobs in the field: bids, crew time, job costs, and profit on each job. You can bring existing jobs and customers in from a QuickBooks export.
How does the free trial work?
Pick a plan and enter a card to start. You get the full app free for 14 days. If you don’t cancel, your first payment is charged on day 15. Cancel before then and you’re never charged.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in the app under Settings → Subscription → Manage billing. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

Can I bring in my existing jobs?
Yes. Export a spreadsheet from Excel, Smartsheet, QuickBooks, or Google Sheets and JobMargin maps your jobs, bids, customers, and crew into the app. You review everything before it saves.
Is my data safe?
Your company’s data is private to your company and is never sold. Payments are handled by Stripe — your card number never touches JobMargin. See our Privacy Policy.
